The Brief
Our Client is a National Architecture firm that has offices from California to New York. Their Higher Education vertical was in need of a firm-wide leader to handle the influx of business they have received and continue the growth of the division.
The Approach
Our Clients desire was to have their Vice President of Higher Education in Los Angeles, California. We focused our attention on leading Architects in Higher Education, in the Los Angeles area. We were looking for a leader who could bring knowledge and experience in all areas of Higher Education projects. It was also necessary for this candidate to have the ability to bring in new projects as they continue to grow their vertical. So our emphasis was on someone with knowledge of the vertical and personality traits of a business development executive.
The Result
The Candidate had spent time with one of the area's largest Higher Education Architectural Firms as their Senior Director of Higher Education. He spent 18 years in Higher Education exclusively, and was a centerpiece in the firms DEI programs encouraging other individuals of color to join the architectural industry. He is a native to Los Angeles and is a well-respected member of the AIA and NOMA. We successfully placed a diverse leader into the role, who has already made significant positive impacts.
