Our Client is an international leader in cancer diagnostics, and pharmaceutical services. They were in need of a Chief Medical Officer to oversee operations in their Nashville Tennessee location.
The Approach
Our Clients desire was to have a candidate that was native to Tennessee. We focused our attention on local and regional life science organizations, with an emphasis on cancer diagnostics. The viable candidate pool in the area was limited based on the specifications of the search, so we were required to look beyond the State of Tennessee, to identify candidates that matched the criteria and skill sets needed for this position.
The Result
The Candidate had spent time with one of the largest bio-pharmaceutical companies in the world. He has over 30+ years in cancer diagnostics, and was an original native to the State of Tennessee. In addition to providing the much needed compliance and oversight leadership that our Client needed, he also expanded the organizations diversity, equity and inclusion program and increased diversity employment by 25% in his first year alone.
