Our Client is a General Contractor in the Midwest region, with offices in 4 locations and building more than $1B+ annually in construction they are in the top 10 leading regional contractors. They were in need of a Chief Financial Officer to oversee all finances for their organization and subsidiaries.
The Approach
Our Client was experiencing significant growth in their construction business, and they required the expertise of a financial expert to assist them in this transition from $500M+ to over $1B+ annually. While at the same time they were experiencing a lack of leadership on the financial side of their organization. Additionally, they were in the process of acquiring other regional contracting firms and needed an expert in mergers and acquisitions to help them navigate this expansion. We shifted our resources and energy into finding ethical finance leaders who were well respected in the midwest who have worked beyond the $1B+ in annual revenue.They needed this person to be local in either Missouri, Michigan, or Minnesota. We were less concerned about the industry, as we were in identifying an ethical leader, who was an expert in mergers & acquisitions.
